A short ride upriver brings you to SAN FRANCISCO PLANTATION, a vibrant and colorful Steamboat Gothic
style mansion surrounded by sugar cane fields. Your tour guide will lead you through the detailed lives of generations
of Creole owners and their families, both their triumphs and their tragedies.
Before your guided mansion tour, you will be greeted at HOUMAS HOUSE; refreshing Mint juleps will be
available for purchase. We've left time for you to enjoy a leisurely lunch at the restaurant on the estate (Not
included in tour price). Click here for their scrumptious menu. After lunch,
experience the southern splendor of this "Sugar Palace." Enjoy the breeze off the Mississippi and navigate through the
shadows of ancient oaks. |

We drive down to a remote swamp in Cajun Country for a thrilling high-speed ride onboard 6 PASSENGER AIRBOATS, comfortably gliding over marshes, deep into secluded bayous for approximately 2 HOURS.
You may even get to hold a baby alligator, feed giant catfish, or meet a nutria face to face.
*In case of lightning, the AIRBOAT tour may be shortened, postponed, or replaced with the Cajun Bayou tour because it is a covered boat.
